Be Able To Prepare a Campaign

For our campaign our main target audience was children and teenagers our own age. I think this would be the best target audience to choose as if teenagers donate their unwanted items, other teenagers would like it, and think of buying it. Where as if your target audience is the older generation, younger people wouldn't take any interest in buying from charity shops. We advertised and promoted our Campaign by putting posters up around the school, and handing out leaflets in the form registers. We also sent a letter to all the parents of the pupils at Browick Road Primary School, so that they would bring in their unwanted items when we visited their school. At the end of our Campaign, we measured our success by collecting our items that other people had donated, but unfortunately in our case we didn't collect any, as no one had donated anything to our group.

  1. You reflect on your target audience and how you think it's best to grab their attention, to promote your campaign. Questionnaires were used at Browick to gain success-here we found at least we'd raised the profile of donating to charity shops even if we hadn't collected many items.
